2025 Special category theme is “The Soundtrack of Summer”
After the success of the Indiana Online Image Competition last April, we are now into Summer in Indiana and it’s time to turn our attention to the Indiana State Fair and the Fair’s annual Photography Competition and Exhibition. Once again, IPPG is proud to coordinate and help administer. We encourage all Indiana photographers to participate. Each year has been a resounding success and we are looking forward to another group of very talented photographers, both amateur and professional, student and adult, to participate in displaying their photography skills and images. Number of Prints: All Professionals or Amateurs are permitted to enter up to 3 prints
plus 1 State Fair Theme print for a total of no more than 4 prints.
Professionals only are permitted to add a print album bringing their total to 5 entries.
Additional prints will not be accepted or displayed.
Size of Prints:
- Professionals print mount sizes must be exactly 20”on the longest side with the image placed within the mount. Typical mounts sizes are, but not limited to 16”x20”, 15”x20”, 10”x20”, etc., in either horizontal or vertical format. Image may be any size within the mount.
- Amateur and College print mount size must be exactly 16”x20”in either horizontal or vertical format with the minimum image size of 8”x10” to a maximum of 16”x20”.
- Elementary and Youth mount sizes must be exactly 8”x10”in either horizontal or vertical format with the minimum image size of 5”x7” to a maximum of 8”x10”.
- Camera Club print mount size must be 16”x20” in either horizontal or vertical format with the minimum image size of 8”x10” to a maximum of 16”x20”.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER
- May 16-July 1, 2025: EARLY REGISTRATION: $35 with an additional $1.00 for each print entered
- July 2-July 26, 2025: LATE REGISTRATION: $55 with an additional $1.50 per print entered
- July 25, 2025: Friday: CHECK IN 12:00pm-6:00pm
- July 26, 2025: Saturday: CHECK IN 9:00am-5:00p no entries will be accepted after Saturday July 26, 2024)
- July 27, 2025: Sunday: JUDGING 9:00am-5:00pm (not open to the public but live streaming is available for a fee)
- Aug 1– Aug 17, 2025: STATE FAIR OPEN (closed only on Mondays this year)
- Aug 7, 2025: Thursday: PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS 6:30pm-8:30pm
- Aug 18, 2025: Monday: RELEASE OF PRINTS 11:00am-7:00pm
- Aug 19, 2025: Tuesday: RELEASE OF PRINTS 9:00am-3:00pm
Entries not picked up by 3:00pm August 19th
