August 2011 Speaker John Condreay

August speaker is John Condreay. John’s love affair with photography began at a very early age, working for a Wichita Kansas based photographer in junior high school. The $1.50 an hour job was over shadowed by the knowledge and experience he was gaining.
His early years of professional photography were spent shooting portraits, weddings, and the occasional commercial assignment. When John wasn’t creating images, he was teaching other people the art of photography.
In 1987, John relocated his business to the Lafayette, IN area. Slowly, he found himself being drawn more to commercial and aerial photography. In 2009, John became one of the first Indiana Photographers to become a Certified Professional Aerial Photographer by the Professional Aerial Photographers Association. Growing up in the Air Capital, John has always loved flying and the challenge of aerial photography made his job even more exciting.
John’s career has spanned 31years and garnered regional, national, and international awards for his photography, taught several workshops, and is scheduled to teach for a third year at the Professional Aerial Photographers Association 2012 World Conference.

We want to thank Ed Lausch for inviting John to come and share his talent with us. The meeting ia back at the Milano Inn, Aug 2 from 6-9. Come and re-charge your photo passion, see your friends and make some new one.

She has been producing award winning images since 1979 and has been listed in Indiana’s Top Ten Photographers. Among her MANY special talents, is her skill of posing clients, composition and the consistent quality of her work. This is envied and respected by her peers and fellow photographers. Everyone knows her work!

Nancy holds the prestigious degrees of Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman. Her knowledge and expertise has allowed her to lecture all over the US sharing her ideas on photography. She was one of only 120 photographers world wide invited to put an album of her images into the Photography Hall of Fame.

We will have an extended family modeling for us that evening, as we work on couple posing, children, senior-age adults and group poses, as well as lighting and composition. This is a fabulous opportunity and should not be missed and it is FREE!

Nancy is providing one family for a model but we are hoping to have time for more models! So we would like our “MEMBERS” to be MODELS too. We all work so hard photographing others and it is hard to ask our friends for favors (ie) photographing our family etc…so we thought it would be nice to give back to you, THE MEMBERS!
